The Centre for Advanced Photonic and Process Analysis (CAPPA) are running a “Light Informing Life” competition, which will run from 7th to 10th of December. To enter this competition all you need to do is send us your best scientific image involving light to enter. You can email your entry to [email protected] or tweet us your image @cappa_cit.
The competition is open to everyone with three main groupings, Postdoctoral entries, Undergraduate entries and secondary school entries. A winner will be selected from each one of these groups as well as one overall winner. There is one €50 and two €25 one4all vouchers for the winner and runner up of this competition. Winners will be announced on Friday 11th December.
The winning images will be chosen by CAPPA researcher Dr Krishnakumar Chullipalliyalil and Dr Steven Darby who recently won SFI research image of the year as part of their work on masks to tackle the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. You can learn more about the winning image here.
