Cian received his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Physics from University College Cork in 2022. This course is operated jointly between UCC and MTU and covers fundamental physics with hands-on industrial training. He is currently working on the design and fabrication of a novel Photonic-Integrated Quartz Enhanced Photoacoustic Spectrometer (QEPAS) Sensor for Greenhouse Gas Detection in Agriculture under the supervision of Dr. William Whelan-Curtin and Dr. Anton Walsh.
