Gautham Vijayan

Gautham did his five year Integrated MSc in Photonics from International School of Photonics (ISP), Cochin University of Science and Technology, India from 2014 to 2019. He worked on a project on the topic “Intensity autocorrelation of Ti:Sapphire femtosecond laser” from ISP. He did his internship as part of Young Scientist Research Program (YSRP) on the topic ” Design and characterisation of 456 nm blue laser for underwater communication” from Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT). He completed his Masters project from RRCAT in the topic “Photorefractive effect in crystals and polymer composites”. He is currently working under Dr Liam O’ Faolain in the topic “Hybrid photonic crystal lasers for intracavity PTS and QPAS applications” funded by OPTAPHI.
