Jenitta received her M.Tech. in Optoelectronics and Laser Technology from the International School of Photonics (ISP) at Cochin University of Science And Technology (CUSAT), India, in 2020 and her B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Calicut, India, in 2018. She completed her master thesis research from Raja Ramanna Center for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) in the topic “Correlation of LSPR and silicon nanostructuring by noble metal nanoparticles towards SERS application.” She did her summer research at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP) as part of the Summer research fellowship of Indian Academy of Sciences in the topic” Enhanced Supercapacitive Performance of PEDOT in Presence of Transition Metal Oxides.” She is currently a doctoral researcher in physics at the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analysis (CAPPA), Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland, under the supervision of Dr. Maria Kotlyar and Dr. William Whelan Curtin. The title of her project is “A Novel Integrated Photo-thermal Spectroscopic Method for monitoring bacterial growth and assessing antimicrobial effects.” Her project will be carried out at Munster Technological university and Tyndall National institute. Jenitta’s research interests are in Nanophotonics, Optoelectronics, and Nanofabrication.
