Madhumidha Murugan

Madhumidha is a Ph.D. student in the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analysis (CAPPA) under the supervision of Dr Liam O’ Faolain. She is currently working on the WaterMon project of real time water quality monitoring technology. She has obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Mookambigai College of Engineering, India and Master’s degree in Nano-Bio Photonics for applications in Telecommunications and Biotechnology from Ecole Normale Superieure Paris-Saclay, France. She completed her Master Thesis in CNRS Laboratory of Systems and Applications of Information and Energy Technologies – (SATIE) – Microfabrications of Lab Chip devices for electroporation of microalga for Lipid Extraction. In addition, she has worked in the research project of Development of Paper Microfluidics for health diagnostics in Microfluidics, MEMS and Nanostructures CNRS Laboratory, in Institut Pierre Gilles de Gennes, (IPGG) Paris, France. Her research interests include Nanophotonics, Microfabrication and Spectroscopy techniques.
