Uday Bangavadi Munivenkatappa received his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communications from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, India. He received his Master’s in Photonics from Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics, Manipal University. He is currently doing a Ph.D. in Cork Institute of Technology. He is working on IPIC funded project “Mode-Locked Dynamics of Swept Source Lasers” under the supervision of Dr. Svetlana Slepneva. His research interests include Swept source lasers, optoelectronics and semiconductor lasers.
