Yide Zhang

Ph.D. Student

Yide is currently a Marie-Curie Early Stage Researcher on the OPTAPHI-EU double doctorate project: Generation and detection of photo-thermal and photo-acoustic waves in solids for advanced near-field IR imaging. His project will be carried out at the Technical University of Wien in Austria and the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analysis at Munster Technical University in Ireland. Yide received his B.Sc. in Optical Information Science and Technology & Public Admistration from Ocean University of China. Then he completed his M.Sc. in Optics and Photonics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, in 2021.
